Free fun: Cattle, chickens, goats and more

Don’t miss the 2010 York County Fall Livestock Show Friday and Saturday, 9/10 and 9/11,  at Triple Creek Farm, 700 Triple Creek Drive, Rock Hill. The youth in 4-H and FFA will be showcasing their hard work.

The pullet show starts at 5 p.m. Friday, followed by the goat show at 6 p.m. and a milking contest at 7 p.m., featuring members of the County Council and local mayors.

The sheep show starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a horse show and beef show, both at 11 a.m. and a 2 p.m. dairy show to end the day.

The show is free to the public. Food and concessions will be sold. For more information, call the York County office of the Clemson Extension Service at 684-9919, ext. 113.
