Hi, faithful fans of Frugal York County!

We have moved our blog to our new, permanent home: Frugal York County (www.frugalyork.com)

Your blog subscriptions should have moved with you. If you do not receive any new emails within the week, please email me at frugalyork@hotmail.com and let me know. If your subscriptions sends you immediate updates, you should have received two emails today (4/28) about financial literacy and paint rebates.

Thank you so much for your patience and for reading FYC! We’ll be adding more items and snappy new links, so keep your eyes peeled!

Advent envelopes for 2011

Home and Garden Television (one of my favorites!) shows you some beautiful — and easy! —┬áChristmas crafts, including one by Share My Craft user Katie Watson for a special way to count down the 25 days of Christmas. “Each envelope has a coupon inside that is redeemable for something special (i.e., a family game night, a cup of hot chocolate, a piece of Christmas candy, Mom reading a book, etc.),” she says. It’s not only a fun family activity, but a creative piece of holiday decor, too.
